The National Poisons Information Centre (NPIC) was established in

February 1995 in the Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of

Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. The Centre provides round-the-clock

information on management of poisonings to Health Care

Professionals and the general public.
