Professor M Ramam enjoys seeing patients, teaching and undertaking curiosity-led research.

He believes that listening to patients and ascertaining their needs are just as important as being aware of the best treatments for their illness.

He has published widely, taught at home and universities overseas and spoken at meetings in India and elsewhere.

His clinical and research interests include general dermatology, patient-reported outcome measures in vitiligo, cutaneous tuberculosis, subcutaneous mycoses and dermatopathology.
