Area of Research Interest:
Modulation of neural plasticity, neuroregeneration and neural repair by Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Magnetized Nanoparticles in humans and animal models
- First clinical trials on intermittent Theta Burst (iTBS) TMS stimulation along with magnetic nanoparticles hydrogel implantation for motor, sensory and autonomic recovery in Spinal cord injury patients.
- Assessing iTBS and Probiotics therapeutic efficacy in patients with neurological or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Establishment of electrophysiological biomarkers using Single and Paired pulse paradigms of TMS for neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders in patients
- Elucidating underlying electrophysiological, morphological and biochemical mechanisms of TMS stimulation in animal models of neurological disorders.
- Establishing nanomedicine for brain tumor in animal models
