Dr. Somesh Gupta serves as a member of the WHO STI Guidelines Development Group, WHO expert group focused on research priorities in STIs and as the Chairperson of the National Working Group on Sexually Transmitted Infections/Reproductive Tract Infections Guidelines, established by the National AIDS Control Organization.
Dr. Gupta's dedication and expertise have earned him prestigious honours, including the AIIMS Excellence Awards, which he received on three occasions. His involvement as one of the Directors of the Dermatology, Aesthetics, and Surgery International League demonstrates his commitment to advancing medical knowledge globally. xProf G Sethuraman has more than 25 years of experience in clinical, teaching and research in Dermatology. He is a competent Pediatric Dermatologist He was awarded five extramural research grants related to Pediatric Dermatology and contributed meaningful and pioneering research work in Genodermatoses particularly in Congenital Ichthyosis and Epidermolysis bullosa with bench to bedside concept. The research outcomes had a strong translation application that had enabled him toreceive worldwide recognition and several awards.
He has bagged ten national awards for his research contribution including the prestigious ICMR DrKC Kandhari award and the highest honor in Medicine in India, the Dr.B.C.Roy National award for the year 2017. The Society for Pediatric Dermatology, USA, conferred on him the 2016 Dermatologist of the Developing Countries Award for his outstanding contribution in Ichthyosis.
He has been the key person in establishing the clinical diagnostic matrix for EB particularly fordeveloping countries and resource poor settings. He has more than 150 research papers and 15chapters in several books including Schachners’s and Harper’s Pediatric Dermatology. He has alsodelivered several invited lectures at various National and International meetings.
His other areas of interest include, vascular lesions, Lasers, collagen vascular disorders and allergy.

Dr. Sujay Khandpur is a Professor at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, AIIMS, New Delhi with 25 years of experience in patient care, teaching and research.. His fields of interest include immunodermatology, dermatopathology, photodermatology, psoriasis, cutaneous lymphomas and vascular dermatoses. He has a fellowship in Dermatopathology from University of California, San Francisco and a Commonwealth fellowship in Photodermatology from Cardiff, UK . He has been on editorial board of various scientific publications and guideline committees including editor-in-chief, has held position of President and other executive positions in national and international scientific associations, edited dermatology books and CDs,has over 200 scientific publications in his fields of interest and more than 500 presentations in scientific conferences and meetings. Patient care and teaching is his passion. He has received prestigious Professor KC Kandhari award , Dr. LK Bhutani memorial award, Dr. LN Sinha memorial award, Dr. Ganapati Panja award, Bishnupriya Devi awards and IADVL oration from the Dermatology association for outstanding achievement in the specialty of Dermatology. He was awatded Professor VN Sehgal Gold medal for best MD student.

Worked as a faculty since 2003 in Centre for Community Medicine AIIMS
Published 102+papers in various national and international journals. Also involved with numerous research projects on non -communicable diseases, funded by WHO and Indian Council of Medical Research.
Area of work is on health systems, planning, implementation and evaluation of health programs. My interest area is on non-communicable diseases, cancer prevention and control, medical education and primary health care I am actively involved with various activities of the National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer Diabetes Cardiovascular Disease Stroke (NPCDCS) in India. Supported by WHO India, I have developed a training package for training program managers in NCD programme in various states in India in 2016. I have been a national trainer for NCD program implementation in India and provided training for various states. Developed a training package for supporting WHO PEN implementation for WHO HQ Geneva. Was part of a mission to part of a WHO mission to Eswatini, Africa to provide technical support to adapt the WHO-PEN and train health workers in 2018. Also developed patient education materials and job aids for NCDs for WHO South East Regional Office 2018- 2019. Developed resource materials for management of diabetes for WHO HQ.
Part of the AIIMS Technical Support Unit for mortality surveillance program and development of an online coding platform called MINErVA ( Mortality in INdia Established thRough Verbal Autopsies) which is a collaboration between AIIMS and the office of the Registrar General of India.
